Gary Pogue McDonald, age 71 passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 at his residence. Gary was born in 1945 to the late Jewell and Floella Pogue McDonald in Greenville, KY. He was a member of the Westminister Presbyterian Church in Columbia, TN and also a member of the Nashville Old Timers Baseball Association Hall of Fame, Belmont University Hall of Fame, National Semi-Pro Baseball Hall of Fame and the Stoneybrook Seniors Gold Club.
He is survived by his wife, Aledia Sheilds McDonald, two daughters, Mindy Chaffin, Lanette Jauregoi, two sisters, Jolene Walker, Jane Galyen and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Westminister Presbyterian Church, 2800 Trotwood Avenue, Columbia, TN.
