Franklin ' 'Mac Hill

December 6, 1931 — January 28, 2004

Mr. Franklin M. Mac Hill, age 72 of Lewisburg, died Wednesday afternoon in Marshall Medical Center.

A native of Marshall County, Mac was the son of the late William Wallace Hill and Evelyn Stewart Crigger, and a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Martha Hill. After leaving the dairy farm, he worked for Heil-Quaker, and was over the Department of Parks & Recreation for the City of Lewisburg. Following retirement from the city, he began a lawn care business.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Sue Woods Hill; and a son: Joe Wallace Hill, both of Lewisburg; a sister: Mary Elizabeth Hickman of Cornersville; a granddaughter: Carrie Wallace Hill of Culleoka; 3 half-brothers: Jackie Crigger of Berlin, Bill Crigger of Hazel Green, AL, and Bob Crigger of Summertown; and a half-sister: Jane Jones of Belfast.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home from 4:00 8:00 PM on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Foundation, or the First United Methodist Church.
