Frances Welch

Mrs. Frances Jones Welch, age 67, died Wednesday morning at her residence in Franklin. She was a native of Hazel Green, AL, daughter of the late Charlie William and Edit Dunivan Jones, a retired bookkeeper, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Lewisburg. She is survived by her husband of 50 years: George Edgar Welch of Franklin; a daughter: Babbette Babs Steele of Lebanon; 2 brothers: Billy Wayne Jones of Lewisburg and Albert Sam Jones of Chapel Hill; and 4 grandchildren: Damon Steele, Abey Welch, Hazel Welch and Pearl Welch. She was preceded in death by her son: George Anthony Welch in May of this year, and a brother: David Michael Jones. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday after 4:00 PM at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home.
