Frances Orr

Mrs. Frances Gillespie Orr,94, widow of William B. Orr, died Tuesday, July 4, 2006 in Perry, Georgia where she had made her home for the past 8 years. Graveside services for Mrs. Orr will be conducted Saturday, July 8, 2006 at 11:00 am at the Bryant Cemetery at Mooresville with Reverend Ray Hartman officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home. The Bryant Station native was the daughter of the late John Henry and Ida Mae Hardison Gillespie. She was a retired Maury County school teacher and a member of the United Methodist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Ann Edwards of Perry, GA, Janice Orr of Warner Robins, GA, and Mae Councill of Boone, NC; her grandchildren, Alan Ventress of Atlanta, GA and Robin Ventress of Salt Lake City, UT; 2 great granddaughters.
