Frances Noble

Frances Owen Noble, age 87, passed away Thursday afternoon in Maury regional Hospital. Born in Simpson, Illinois, the daughter of the late William Owen and Stella Vaughn. Ms. Noble lived in Petersburg for many years and was the mother to six sons; Danny Noble of Lewisburg, Larry Noble, Petersburg, Steve Noble of Petersburg, Walter Noble of Nashville, Terry Noble of Santa Maria, California and Phil Noble of Cheyenne, Wyoming. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a sister: Norma Downs of Ohio, three brothers; Gordon Owen of Arizona, Bob Owen of Avon, Illinois and Rowland Owen of Morningside, Indiana. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 29, 2006 at 11AM from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Short Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4 PM to 8 PM on Sunday and again Monday until the funeral hour.
