It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sarah Frances Eslick Brown, a beloved member of our community, who departed this life peacefully on September 19, 2026, at the age of 98. Born on November 6, 1927, Frances was a dedicated wife, mother, and friend, known for her sweet kindness and unwavering spirit.

Frances was a devoted member of the Westvue Church of Christ, where her faith and commitment to her church family were evident in everything she did. She attended services regularly, finding joy and strength in her connection with her community. Throughout her life, she exemplified the virtues of love and service, caring tenderly for her husband, Forrest Eugene Brown, with whom she shared 63 wonderful years of marriage until his passing. Together, they built a loving home and a cherished family.

A true matriarch, Frances was known as a good mother who nurtured and supported her son and everyone around her. Her warmth and generosity will be deeply missed by her family and all those who knew her. Frances's homemade peanut brittle became a beloved tradition, and her sweet treats were a testament to the love she poured into her family gatherings.

Frances is survived by son, Bobby Lee Brown, numerous nieces and nephews, and her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Matthew and Roxie Candace Cashion Eslick, husband, Forrest Eugene Brown, brothers, James Manley Bud Eslick and John Marvin Eslick, and sisters, Mary Candace Eslick Martin, Bonnie Mae Eslick Brown, and Mildred Inez Eslick Warren.
