Eva Barron

Eva Robbie Ann Newcomb Barron, 82, was called to her eternal resting place on January 29, 2023. She entered this world on February 21, 1940, in Chapel Hill, TN, born to Robert and Opal Vaughn Newcomb.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at the chapel of Bills McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home.  Visitation will resume at noon on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, until the funeral hour of 1:00PM with burial following at Lone Oak Cemetery.

She is preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Hybride Lee Barron, and her siblings, Lorene Ledbetter, Aaron Newcomb, Alma Rummage, Alta Chumbley, and WT Newcomb. 

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Phillips of Lewisburg; sons, Harvey Barron of Winchester and Brian Barron of Petersburg; grandchildren, Richard Lee Phillips, Monica Barron Green, Brooks Barron, Justin Pigg (Ashley Brannon), Emma Barron, Skyler Barron, and Rylee Barron; great grandchildren, Abigail Green and Kelsea Green; sisters, Estelle Henderson, Helen Bosserman, Catherine Stone (Herb), and Barbara Sandridge.  Pallbearers are Harvey Barron, Brian Barron, Jeff Knox, Richard Lee Phillips, Brooks Barron, and Justin Pigg.

The family would like to thank Dr. Narra and the Caris Hospice nurses, Demi, Candice, and Jessica for their time, care, and compassion with Eva.
