Biography
Etelka Higgins, age 91 of Lewisburg, passed away on Friday January 4th, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. Mrs. Higgins was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Lewisburg. She was a longtime employee of H & S Pharmacy and Parsons Pharmacy. Her husband was the late Milton Higgins who passed away in 1990.
She is survived by one son Ronnie Higgins of Lewisburg, one daughter Joy Davis of Branson, MO, one sister Louise Brown of Chapel Hill, TN, sister-in-law Katherine Higgins Qualls of Huntsville, AL, two granddaughters Leah Higgins Campbell, Lauren Higgins Harwell, one grandson Tim Davis and two great-grandsons.
Funeral services for Mrs. Higgins will be Tuesday, January 8th, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Dr. Tom Dumser officiating. Burial will be in Lone Oak Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to the funeral beginning at 1:00 P.M.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church, 323 2nd Avenue North, Lewisburg,TN 37091
