Dorothy Attkisson

Mrs. Dorothy Sue Attkisson, age 69, passed away Monday October 18, 2010 at her residence. She was a native of Tuscumbia, Alabama and was the daughter of the late Orbert and Laverne Mize. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist church. Funeral services for Mrs. Attkisson will conducted Thursday October 21, 2010 at 2pm from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Clyde Mize officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4-8pm Wednesday evening at the Funeral Home. Her parents, and a sister: Joanne Mize preceded her in death. She is survived by: Husband-Kenneth Attkisson of Lewisburg Son- Billy Cozart of Murfreesboro, Tn. Daughters- Susan Wendell Pugh of Lewisburg Deborah J.R. Blacksher of Murfreesboro, Tn. Dana Nathan Croy of Nashville, Tn. 9 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren Brother- Granville Faye Mize of Muscle Shoals, Alabama Brother- Randall Mize of Jasper, Alabama Sister- Diane Burcham of Tuscumbia, Alabama Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
