Donald L. Morris

Donald L. Morris, who loved God, left this earth to enter heaven’s Bright Dawn on Tuesday, May 12, 2020.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Lorell Morris and his wife, Juliana McDaniel Morris. Surviving are his two sons, Todd (Allison) and Timothy (Catherine) Morris, six grandchildren, Anna Sierra (Edgar), Tyler Morris (Lindsay), Emma Kent (Zach), Richard Morris, William Morris, and Sarah Catherine Morris, and one great grandchild, Paxton Sierra, two brothers, Harold Morris (Nancy) and James Morris (Stephanie).
He received a B.S. degree in the School of Business from Pepperdine University. He was president of his National Honor Society, Pi Gamma Mu in both his junior and senior year. He was active in his church at Covenant Presbyterian Church, PCA. He was employed by Union Oil of California and Chevron Oil Company during his early career. He formed his own appraisal company, Southeastern Appraisal Company in Brentwood, Tennessee and appraised commercial properties for more than 40 years. Don loved to travel the world with his wife having visited most European countries, Australia, Africa, the Orient, the Caribbean, and all over the Unites States. When Don was not traveling, he loved to play tennis and spend time with his family and his close friends.
A private family burial will take place in Belfast, Marshall County, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Alive Hospice Nashville (615-963-4800) at 1710 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
