David Clayton Powers

David Clayton Powers, 70, of Cornersville, passed away on April 5, 2023, at Williamson Medical Center. He was born in Lewisburg, TN to the late William and Lillian Hunt Powers. He loved to support his children and grandchildren in all their pursuits in life. David was also an avid fan of all UT sports.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 10, 2023, from 4 to 7 at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at 11 on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, and continue until the funeral hour of noon with Bro Jimmy Jean officiating. The burial will follow at Lone Oak Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Brock Powers, Barrett Powers, Ben Walker, Robert McCormick, Charlie Collins, and Timmy Blackwell.

He is survived by his wife, Linda White Powers; his sons, Will (Amber) Powers of Cornersville and Brian (Tabitha) Powers of Lewisburg; a sister, Nancy (Steven) Lawrence of Richmond, TX, and six grandchildren, Brock Powers, Barrett Powers, Katelyn Powers, Taylor (TC) Hayes, Braylin Powers, and Riley Powers. David is preceded by his parents and his brothers, Dean Powers, Randy Powers, and Ray Powers.
