Cheryl Darlene Mitchell Smith

Cheryl Darlene Smith, age 68, passed away at her residence in Lewisburg, TN on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. She was born in Lincoln County, TN on January 2, 1950 to the late Eldon and Neva Tucker Vann Mitchell. She was a homemaker after spending several years as a cafeteria worker at the Scales Elementary School. Darlene was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her first husband, Douglas Waggoner and a brother Jeff Mitchell. She is survived by her second husband, Harold Smith, Lewisburg, TN, daughter Jennifer Crowell, Murfreesboro, TN, brother, Floyd Mitchell, Lincoln Co., TN, two sisters, Melissa Rucker, Decatur, AL, Wanda Smith, Murfreesboro, TN along with six nephews and one niece. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 6, 2018 in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Franklin, TN.
