Charles Rogers

Mr. Charles W. Rogers, age 75 of Lewisburg, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2009 at his residence. A native of Gastonia, North Carolina, he was a retired Electrical Engineer at Teledyne. He earned his BS degree from North Carolina State University and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lewisburg. Mr. Rogers is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Margaret Cloniger . Survivors include his wife Nell Rogers of Lewisburg, two sons, Tony Rogers of Humbolt, TN and Tim Rogers of Lewisburg, two grand sons, Isaac and Drew Rogers of Humbolt , TN and a grand Daughter Tyler Rogers of Humbolt, TN. One brother, Roy Rogers of Knoxville, TN also survives him. Funeral Services for Mr. Rogers will be conducted on Wednesday , March 4, 2009 at 2:00 PM from First United Methodist Church in Lewisburg. Visitation with the family will begin at 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home and after 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the church. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Henry Horton State Park or the American Heart Association.
