Charles Blankenship

Charles Blankenship, age 73 passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the Marshall Medical Center in Lewisburg, TN. He was born in Henderson County, TN to the late Herbert Hadley and Bertha Mercer Blankenship. Charles retired from the City of Lewisburg where he was a Police Officer for over 12 years and worked in the street department for 18 years. He was preceded in death along with his parents by his son, Charles Brent Blankenship, a step-son, Thomas Timothy Simmons, and a step-daughter, Glenda Sue Carnell. Charles is survived by his wife, Sue Ann Thomas Blankenship, a brother, Johnny Adam (Evelyn) Blankenship, Linden, TN, a sister, Ann Blankenship, Decaturville, TN, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Visitation is planned with the family on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM.
