It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carolyn Victory, who left this world on December 13, 2024, at the age of 49. Born on October 1, 1975, Carolyn was a fierce and devoted mother, who always put her children first, often sacrificing her own needs in the process. Her sarcastic wit and unfiltered honesty made her a unique and memorable presence in the lives of those who knew her.
Carolyn was not one to take nonsense from anyone, especially when it came to her children. Her protective nature and strong spirit were guiding lights for the family she cherished. A proud supporter of the Crimson Tide, “Roll Tide,” Carolyn could always be counted on to raise her voice in allegiance to her beloved team, reflecting her passionate approach to life.
As a mother, she did the best she could with the knowledge and resources available to her, always striving to provide a loving and nurturing environment for her family. Though she loved being pampered, Carolyn found her greatest joy in caring for her children and ensuring their happiness.
She was preceded in death by her mom, Carolyn Sue Stubblefield Victory. She is survived by her father, Charles Victory; her sons, Paul Patterson and Hunter Peters; daughters, Caitlyn Victory, Adriana Lightsey (Zack), Cora-Leigh Young, Sue-Ellen Young, and Riley Davis; brothers, Josh Victory and Charles Victory; and Niklaus Patterson.
The family will be holding a memorial service to celebrate Carolyn's life, which will take place on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 2:00PM. Visitation will be prior to the memorial service from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to join us in honoring her memory with stories, laughter, and, of course, a remembrance of her no-nonsense approach to life.
Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.
