Carolyn Sue Victory, born on November 20, 1956, in Detroit, MI, to Charles and Mary Sue Duke Stubblefield passed away on March 12, 2024.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2023, at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 PM until the service time of 2:00 PM.
A woman of simple pleasures, Carolyn enjoyed spending her free time shooting pool and tending to her beloved dogs and dolls. She had a passion for collecting hot wheels and nicknacks, filling her home with unique treasures. She always had a sweet tooth and cherished her candy drawer. Most of all was her love for her family. She was known to her grandchildren as Granny or Nini.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her half-brother, Charles Stubblefield. She is survived by sons, Charles Odis Victory (Amy) and Josh Victory; daughter, Carolyn Patsy Victory; sisters, Linda Buchanan (Steve) and Doris Stubblefield; grandchildren Caitlyn, Adriana, Cora Leigh, Paul, Sue Ellen, Justin, Seth, Jeremiah, Shane, Madysun, Logan, and Josh Jr; cousin, Thomas Slone (Kim); nieces and nephews, James Childress, Rhonda Childress, Jessica McCullum (Josh); and many beloved extended family and friends.
