Carolyn Hamilton

Sara "Carolyn" Talley Hamilton, age 78 of Murfreesboro, formerly of Lewisburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, in St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. A native of Marshall County, Mrs. Hamilton was the daughter of the late Cecil Talley and Rebecca McClain Talley. She was a homemaker and a member of Church Street Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-two years, Don Hamilton, who passed away in 2007 and a brother Bill Talley. She is survived by two sons, Keith (Carlin) Hamilton of Tullahoma and William Allen Hamilton of Nashville, a daughter, Mary Ruth Hamilton of Murfreesboro, two granddaughters, Beth (Dustin) Thames, and Page (Daniel) Grantham, and one great-granddaughter, Adlen Thames. Funeral services for Mrs. Hamilton will be Friday, October 4, 2013, at 2 PM from the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bryant Cemetery in the Mooresville Community. Visitation with family will be Thursday, October 3, 2013, from 5 PM to 8 PM at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home. Condolences of sympathy may be sent to www.billsmcgaugh.com.
