Bobby Lee Martin

We are saddened to announce the passing of Bobby Lee Martin, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who peacefully left us on November 4, 2024, in Lewisburg, TN. Born on September 26, 1947, in Moulton, AL, to Robert Edgar and Mary "Maggie" Porter Martin.

Known by many as 'Speedy,' Bobby was always on the move - whether driving his truck across the country, riding motorcycles, or cutting up with his loved ones. His love for speed was only matched by his love for pretty girls, always bringing a smile to those around him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Toby Martin; his brothers, Houston Martin and Charles Martin; and his sisters, Eloise Rochelle, Liz Ray, and Phyllis Martin.

He leaves behind his devoted spouse, Cynthia Martin, and his cherished son, Stacy Martin and daughter Angie Martin. He is also survived by his brothers, JW Martin and Phillip Martin; sisters Betty Luttrell, Clara Roberts, Mary Jo Lee, and Margaret Norwood; grandchildren, Brayden Burns and Brooklyn Burns and numerous other family members and friends. Bobby's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Please join us in celebrating Bobby's life at his funeral service, which will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and will resume Friday, November 8, 2024, from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour of 1:00 PM. Let us come together to honor and remember the man who brought joy and laughter to so many. Rest in peace, Speedy.
