Bobby Drake Carroll

With deep love and heavy hearts, we share the peaceful passing of Bobby Drake Carroll on April 17, 2025, at the age of 94. Born in Lewisburg, Tennessee, on September 16, 1930, Bobby lived a life full of grit, charm, and unforgettable stories. He was strong-willed, full of spirit, and always knew how to draw a smile with his quick wit and infectious humor.

Bobby had a deep love for adventure from an early age. Whether flying planes or riding motorcycles, he embraced life with a bold, free-spirited energy that never faded. He found joy in the open road and the simple beauty of the world around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Elizabeth Turner Carroll; his beloved wife, Mildred Griffin Carroll; his son, Steven Carroll; and his brother, Willard Carroll. Though his absence is deeply felt, his legacy lives on through his grandson, Wesley Carroll, and his niece, Rhonda Carroll Cross — as well as through the many lives he touched with his laughter, love, and larger-than-life presence.

Bobby's memory will remain a bright and lasting light in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Graveside service will be Friday, April 25, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Lone Oak Cemetery.
