BLANCHE ELIZABETH FOREMAN NIX
Mrs. Blanche Elizabeth Foreman Nix, age 94 of Lewisburg, passed away Friday evening October 8th, 2010 at NHC Oakwood in Lewisburg. Mrs. Nix was a native of Stuttgart, AR and the daughter of the late Benjamin Fenton Foreman and Mary Elizabeth Hall Foreman. She was married to the late Charlie T. Nix who died in 1987. In addition to her husband and parents, one son Charles Lloyd Nix preceded her in death.
Mrs. Nix was a sales clerk for Nancy's Children Shop for 36 years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women of Lewisburg.
She is survived by one son David Judy Nix Sr. of Mt. Juliet, TN and one daughter Lynna Charlie Cheatham of Lewisburg. Also surviving are four grandchildren Jill Danny Pickle, Heidi Hanks, Davey Nix Jr., Julie Bills, two step-grandchildren Tommy Susette Cheatham, Brian Catina Cheatham, eight great-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Mrs. Nix at Lone Oak Cemetery will be Friday October, 15, 2010 at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the Marshall County Animal Shelter.
