Billy Joe Smith, 36, of Belfast, died on Monday, August 29, 2022 at his residence Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, September 1st at 2 pm at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Park. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 11 am until service time at the funeral home. Born on January 10, 1986, he was the son of William “Bill” Smith and Melissa Jett Winkler. He loved music, and his favorite movie was Titanic. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, A.J. Smith; sisters, Cynthia Roberts, Mary Jane McCaffrey, Shelia Smith; grandmothers, Mary Jett and Joyce Smith; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
