Billy Wayne Jones, age 80 of Lewisburg, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at his residence after a long illness. Mr. Jones was a native of Hazel Green, AL, the son of the late Charlie Jones and Edith Dunivan Jones. He was also preceded in death by one son, Jeff Jones; two brothers, Albert and Mike Jones; one sister, Frances Welch, and one son-in-law, G. A. White. He was a graduate of Marshall County High School - Class of 1952. He served his country in the Army in 1957 during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Heil Quaker in 1989, was owner and operator of B&W Machines, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lewisburg. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Barbara Bigham Jones of Lewisburg; two sons, Bill Jones and Jason (Susan) Jones, both of Lewisburg; one daughter, Vickie White of Cornersville, five grandsons, Jacob White of Houston, Texas, Hayden, Neyland, Aaron and Cooper Jones, all of Lewisburg; two granddaughters, Connie White Robbins of Tupelo, MS and Ashton Jones of Lewisburg, and three great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 4 PM until 9 PM and also Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 12 Noon until 2 PM at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM, Wednesday, April 8, 2015 in the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Mark Irvin and Leland Carden officiating.
