William “Bill” Branaman, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on November 23, 1957, Bill was known as one of the best people you could ever meet. He treated everyone with deep respect and kindness, creating connections that lasted a lifetime. His infectious laughter brought joy to those around him, and his remarkable ability to lift spirits made him a cherished presence in the lives of many.

Bill was deeply proud of his daughters and grandkids, often expressing his love and admiration for them. He was a fun-loving person who found immense joy in the outdoors, whether he was hunting or breaking horses, earning him the affectionate title of "Last Cowboy of Marshall County." His adventurous spirit and warm heart will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughters, Josey Branaman (Evan) and Jenna Liggett (Cole), bonus son, Ethan Chapman, brother, Doug Branaman, grandchildren, Easton Chapman, Bowden Arthur Hale, Bennett Clay Hale, and Grayson Scott Liggett. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy Branaman, daughter Kayla Hale, brpther, Doug Branaman and sister, Janie Branaman.

Funeral services will be held in honor of Bill’s remarkable life, where family and friends will gather to pay their respects and celebrate his legacy. The service will take place on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. Visitation will be prior to the service at the funeral home from 3:00 PM until the time of the service at 6:00 PM. In the spirit of community that William embodied, we invite all who knew him to join in remembering a man who brought laughter and love to our lives. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home to assist with the funeral arrangements.
