Betty Jo Puckett Carney, 87, resident of Lewisburg, died on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at her residence. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, June 5th at 2 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 12 PM until service time at the funeral home. Born on June 15, 1933 in Rockvale, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Edgar James Puckett and the late Florence Ethel Redmond Puckett. Survivors include her son, Leslie Carney of Nashville; daughter, Jessica Carney of Nashville; brother, Tom (Nancy) Puckett of Unionville; nephews, Ricky (Julie) Tripp, Larry (Tina) Rochelle, and Michael Puckett. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Susie Mills, Elnora Tripp, Mary Puckett, Sara Robinson; brothers, Charles Puckett, Bud Puckett; and nephew, Bobby Robinson.
