Mrs. Tepedino died Thursday evening in Marshall Medical Center in Lewisburg.
From an early age, she was loving refered to as 'Cookie.' Her life became defined by her love of travel, reading, and trying her hand at writing. Described by her children as a fabulous cook, her most treasured hours were entertaining her friends and family.
Cookie received her Bachelor's Degree in English from Hartwick College, and was a teacher until changing careers to become a mother and homemaker.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Agnes Gray Zimmermann Columbus, GA, daughter, Brenda Tepedino Lewisburg, son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Ginger Tepedino Lewisburg, and siblings, Bill Zimmerman Covington, GA, Brian ZimmermannLawrenceville, GA, Cathy Stokes Greenville, SC, John Zimmermann Salem, AL, Mary Zimmermann Columbus, GA, David Zimmermann Columbus, GA and Rob Zimmermann Athens, GA. At her death, she was awaiting the arrival of her first grandchild, a girl.
