Austin Blake Adams, 29, resident of Lewisburg, died suddenly on Thursday, August 11, 2022.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 17th at 3PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Worley Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday from 3PM until 7PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home.
He was born on September 5, 1992, to George and Jennifer Adams, who preceded him in death. He was raised by his grandmother, who he called “Granny”. Austin was a blessing in life. She says he saved her more times than she saved him. His laugh was infectious, and his heart was bigger than his body. The world will never know the true hero it has lost. He served his country in the United States Army, and received the Army Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service while serving in the intelligence company. His dedication to duty and selfless service are in keeping with the finest tradition of military service. Austin was an avid gamer and loved hiking.
Austin leaves his son, Maverick Adams, who he adored. His Granny Adams; aunts, Shelia Linley and Stacy Harris; uncle, Toby (Kim) Adams, Troy Adams; special cousin, Jarika Ford; and “Granddaddy”, Dwayne Locke.
