Anthony Kerry Gipson

Anthony Kerry Gipson of the Farmington community in Lewisburg passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. He was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late Bobby Loyd and Earline Burrow Gipson. He served in the US Marine Corp. , was an officer with the Lewisburg Police Dept. for six years and enjoyed his job as an over the road truck driver. Mr. Gipson is survived by his two daughters, Scarlet (Dwight) Dixon of Belfast, Christie Dawn (Daniel) Bishop of Lynnville, TN, two brothers, Daney Raye (Sara) Gipson, James Aaron (Sharon) Gipson of Belfast, three grandsons, Anthony Loren Taylor Gumbiner, Tanner Dixon, Koi Dixon and one granddaughter, Madison Dixon. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, April 30,2016 from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm in the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home and again two hours prior to services on Sunday. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery with military honors.
