Alpha Elizabeth James Spivy

Alpha Elizabeth Spivy, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the Marshall Medical Center in Lewisburg, TN. Alpha was a member of the Leoma Baptist Church in Leoma, TN. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Bessie Coleman James from Lawrence County, TN. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William O. Spivy, and three sisters, Elouise Durrett, Marie Belew, and Ruby Gibbs. She is survived by her son, Tommy (Cecilia) Spivy, Lewisburg, TN, a sister, Betty (Harold) Johnston, Lawrenceburg, TN, two grandsons, Will (Andrea) Spivy, Lewisburg, TN, Brett (Diana) Spivy, Spring Hill, TN, and two great-grandsons, Ethan and Braxton Spivy. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home and Crematory. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 23, 2016 in the Lawrence Co. Memorial Gardens, Lawrenceburg, TN.
