Alayna Marie Holt

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alayna Marie Holt, who left us peacefully on May 25, 2026, at the tender age of eight years. Born on February 23, 2018, in Nashville, TN, Alayna brought endless joy and laughter to the lives of those who knew her. She resided in Lewisburg, TN, with her loving parents, Jacob and Leann Holt, who will forever cherish the memories of their beautiful daughter.

Alayna was a beacon of light, always happy and full of life. She had a love for traveling and found joy in exploring the mountains with her family. Her days were often filled with joyful adventures, playful naps, and cherished moments during story time. Alayna adored having her hair brushed and would light up whenever her Granny sang the ABC song, her laughter echoing in the hearts of all who heard it.

Throughout her many hospital visits and various diagnoses, Alayna's spirit remained indomitable. She faced every challenge with grace and determination, proving that it was always her way, regardless of the circumstances.

Alayna’s smile was perfect, and her laugh was contagious, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of joy, love, and resilience will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends.

Alayna was preceded in death by grandfather, Eddie Wayne Blackwell, great grandparents, Bobby and Linda Faye Blackwell, Bobby and Sue Hopkins, great grandmother, Shelia Baum, great uncle, James Pointer, great aunt, Lisa Pointer, and cousin, Dixie Lynn Blackwell. 

She is survived by her parents, Jacob and Leann Blackwell Holt, sister, Haven Holt, grandmother, Kim Darnell, grandparents, Michelle (Jonathan) Thomas, great grandparents, Doris and Jerry White, great grandfather, Donald Baum, uncles, Josh (Cassidy) Darnell, Scotty (Cherry) Blackwell, Eric (Sarah) Blackwell, Chris (Kendall) Holt, aunts, Jaclyn (Justin) Miller and Ayla (Chad) Metcalf, great uncle, Michael Baum, cousins, Gracie and Kenzie Darnell, Ethan and Hunter Blackwell, Melleeine Blackwell, Ava and Axton Holt, Taylor and Tatum Metcalf, Benjamin Miller and Julian Miller.

Funeral services will be held in memory of Alayna Marie Holt on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home with Pastor Linda Price officiating. Burial will follow at Short Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 10:00 a.m. until the service time at the funeral home.

Alayna Marie Holt will be forever remembered and dearly missed.
