Agnes Newcomb

Biography Miss Agnes Newcomb, age 92 of Lewisburg, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at NHC Lewisburg. A native of Marshall County, she was the daughter of the late George D. Newcomb and Monnie Delphia Chrisman Newcomb. She was a homemaker and was of the Presbyterian faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Survivors include one nephew: Donald Green, Four nieces: Peggy Harwell, Mary Hodge, Annita Slate and Rebecca Lancaster of Lewisburg. One great niece, Cathy Pugh. A memorial service will be held in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Agnes Newcomb Memorial Fund c/o Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home.
