Adron "A.G." Burgett

Adron "A.G." George Burgett, 83, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away on June 22, 2026, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Born on August 1, 1942, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Calvin Burgett and the late Verdi Lott Burgett. Mr. Burgett proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, serving as a Combat Engineer from 1968 until 1969.

Mr. Burgett is survived by his daughter, Patricia (Rick) Shutt; his granddaughter, Kaitlyn (Robert) Griffin; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Carlos Burgett and Tommy Burgett; and his sisters, Laurece Collins, Melba Clark, Wanda Cantrell, and Elbalene Thompson.

A graveside service will be held at Short Cemetery on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army in recognition of his service to his country.
