Woodrow Helmick

November 10, 1916 — November 8, 2002

Mr. Helmick died Friday afternoon in Marshall Medical Center.

He was a native of Maury County, son of the late Thomas Hiram and Sarah Wells Helmick, and a member of the Church Street Church of Christ. He served the United States during World War II with the US Army, and was a retired machine operator with Faber-Castell Corporation.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Ruth Jett Helmick, two brothers, Robert and David Helmick, and a sister, Kate Townsend.

At the interment, military honors will be provided by the 101st Airborne, stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY.

Mr. Helmick is survived by a sister, Ruth Pugh of Nashville; a brother, Tommy Helmick of Chapel Hill; numerous nieces and nephews, and his sitter, Sandra Voelkel.

Members of Class 13 at Church Street will serve as honorary pallbearers.
