William Weber

William K. Weber, age 65, of Wheatland Ave. Lancaster, PA, formerly of Paducah, KY, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at Hospice of Lancaster County in Mount Joy, PA.
Born in Kingsville, TX he was the son of the late Kossuth C. and Betty Smith Weber. He and his wife, Melinda Gates Weber, celebrated their fortieth wedding anniversary last July 27th.
Bill was a 1996 graduate of Rhodes College, Memphis, TN and a 1973 graduate of the University of Tennessee Law School. He retired in 2000 as a Labor relations and Benefits Plan Manager for the United States Energy Corporation in Paducah, KY with whom he had been employed for thirty- six years.
Bill served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, obtaining the rank of Captain.
He was a member of the Lone Oak Church of Christ where he served as a former deacon.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Robert K. Amy Weberof Lancaster, PA , daughter Mary Ellen Weber Bryan Starmer of Knoxville, TN, two grandaughters, Lily Anna Starmer and Leonie Weber, Three brothers, Charles Lori Weber of Taos, NM, Cayce Weber of Taos, NM and Taylor Barbara Weber of Littleton, CO.
Mr. Weber's graveside service and interment will be held at the Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg, TN on Saturday July 25th, 2009 at 5:00 PM with Mr. Clay Derryberry officiating. The family will gather before the services at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home at 755 Yell Road, Lewiburg, TN 37091 at 4:30 PM.
