William Smallwood

William Frederick Smallwood, age 38 of 304 Delina-Boonshill Road, Petersburg passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at his residence. A native of Portsmouth, VA, he was the son of Frederick Kohler Smallwood of Picayune, MS and Kathleen Smallwood of Blythe, CA. He was a Computer Programmer with Computer Science Corp and a member of St. John Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Mary Pounds Smallwood of Petersburg, his parents Frederick Smallwood and Kathleen Smallwood, two sons William Kohler and Richard Edwin Smallwood, one daughter Jillian Maria Smallwood all of Petersburg, one sister Rebecca Garside of New Orleans, LA, two brothers Michael Smallwood of New York, New York and Michael Swanberg of Birmingham, AL and one niece Clodomir Garside and one nephew Ignatius Garside both of New Orleans, LA. Mr. Smallwood will be cremated and a Funeral Mass is scheduled for Thursday, November 3rd, 2011 at 11: 00 A.M. at St. John Catholic Church with Father Bill Kelly officiating. A Vigil Service will be held on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2011 at 6:00 P. M. at the church.
