William Ervin

Biography
Mr. William Robert " Bobby" Ervin, age 85, of the Anes Station Community, passed away on Wednesday, September 5,2012 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.

A native of Marshall County, He was the son of the late Florence Cozart Ervin and Archie Ervin. He was retired from Eaton Corporation in Shelbyville, served his country in the United States Army and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, his wife, Martha Frances Ervin who passed in 2011, a grand daughter Jeannie Ray Lindsey and a great grandchild Shane Lindsey, along with one brother, Claudie Ervin precedes him in death.

Survivors include three daughters, Peggy Sue Lee of Petersburg, Kathy Rogers of Lewisburg, JoAnn Click of Lewisburg, three brothers, Wilburn Ervin of Columbia, Clyde Ervin of Pottsville, Jackie Ervin of Pulaski, four sisters, Eleanor Rubert of Columbia, Betty Brannon of Columbia, Dorothy Young of Lewisburg, and Lula Crigger of Lewisburg. Seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services for Mr. Ervin will be conducted on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral home; burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery with Military honors. Thomas B. Sumners officiating.

Visitation with the family will begin on Friday, September 7, 2012 from 4:00 PM
until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
