Whitfield Bryant, Jr

Mr. Bryant died Thursday morning at his residence. Mr. Bryant was a life-long resident of the Mooresville Community of Marshall County, son of the late Whitfield Alexander Bryant Sr. and Elizabeth McCrory Bryant, a farmer, and a member and former deacon of the Friendship Baptist Church in Culleoka. Mr. Bryant also loved to cook and make candy for his family. He was preceded in death by two wives: Frances Richardson Bryant 1972 and Velma Calahan Pinkston Bryant 1988. He is survived by two daughters: Carol Bryant Jerry Williams of Culleoka, and Donna Don Patterson of Lewisburg, two step-daughters: Wanda Bob Wright of Woodbridge, VA, and Sara John Wakefield of El Dorado, AR, 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be made to the Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund, P O Box 127, Culleoka, TN 38451. Honorary pallbearers were the Friendship Baptist Church Adult Men's Sunday School Class, Dr. Melvin Lewis, George O. Smith, and Lewis McConnell.
