Virginia Watkins

Mrs. Sarah Virginia Watkins, age 89 of Lewisburg, passed away on Sunday November 30, 2008 at NHC- Oakwood.

A native of Giles County she was the daughter of John Watkins and Lula Mae Roberts Watkins. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cornersville Baptist Church.

Mrs. Watkins is preceded in death by her parents, her husband David "Buster" Watkins 1993. A daughter, Martha Ruth Foster, two sisters; Pauline Edwards and Christine Watkins, four brothers; J.B. Dunnivant, John Junior Dunnivant, G.H. Dunnivant, and Robert Dunnivant.

Survivors include one sister, Louise Nix of Lewisburg, one son, Thomas Watkins of Murfreesboro, TN, two grandsons Billy Foster of Lewisburg, TN and Mike Foster of Springfield, TN.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Watkins will be conducted on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with burial to follow in Sunset Park with Brother Frank Edwards and Brother Chester Slayton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, December 1, 2008 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
