Troy Venable

March 25, 1962 — August 30, 2013

Troy Lee Venable, age 51, of Franklin passed away on Friday, August 30, 2013, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Mr. Venable was a native of Nashville and the son of the late Glenn Paul Venable and Margaret Marie Gibson Venable and his grandmother, Martha R. Scott. He was a musician where he played with The Allman Brothers Band. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Jerrettsa Gail Venable of Lobelville, Tennessee, two sons, Jeremy Brian Green and Aaron Scott Venable, and one daughter, Elissa Gail Scribner, all of Lewisburg. A sister, Shearon Buchanan of Lascassas, Tennessee, six grandchildren, two uncles, Mickey Bowers and Mike Venable, both of Nashville, and an aunt, Beth (Earl)Coons of Hendersonville also survive him.

Visitation for Mr. Veneable will be Wednesday, September 11, 2013, from 4-8 PM at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home & Crematory in Lewisburg.
