Sandie Marie Hargrove Shelton, age 37 of Lawrenceburg, died Sunday evening in Crockett Co. Hospital.
Born in Marshall County, Sandie was raised in Humphrey County and was the daughter of the late James L. Hargrove and Andrea Shawl Story. Sandie loved her family and spent her free time researching the family genealogy and history. She exhibited her creative abilities in cross-stitch and gardening.
Sandie is survived by her husband: Larry Wayne Shelton; and two daughters: Samantha LeeAnn Shelton and Stevie Rae Shelton, all of Lawrenceburg; her mother: Andrea Hargrove Story of Waverly; two brothers: John Michiel Hargrove of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Charles Lee Story of Waverly; 3 sisters: Jimmy Hargrove of Dickson, Kathy Darnell of Columbia, and Mary Lee Hargrove of Alabama.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery beside her father.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday after 3:00 PM at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home for visitation.
