Biography Sadie Hardison Harper, age 76 of 977 Galloway St., Lewisburg passed away on Tuesday, May 08, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Harper was a native of Marshall County and was the daughter of the late Marcus Hardison and Sarah Hill Hardison. She was a member of Church Street Church of Christ and was the secretary and bookkeeper for forty years at Sharp Motor Co.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-six years J. W. Harper of Lewisburg, one son Duane (Amanda) Harper of Lebanon, TN, two daughters Cindy (Ben) Varnado of Charleston, SC. and Sandra Clark of Nashville, TN. Also surviving are one sister Marie McAnally of Nashville and one brother David (Elizabeth) Hardison of Lewisburg, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and good friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Harper will be Thursday, May 10th, 2012 at 2 P.M. from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Kyle Bolton officiating. Burial will take place at Sunset Park Memorial Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, May 9th, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and on Thursday one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to Tennessee Childrens Home, Spring Hill, TN or St. Jude Children's Hospital Tribute Program, P. O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
