Roger Alexander

February 16, 1934 — December 29, 2012

Roger C. Alexander, age 78 of 2153 Hwy. 40, Lewisburg, passed away on Saturday, December 29th, 2012 at NHC-Lewisburg. Mr. Alexander was a native of Cleveland, Ohio and the son of the late Harry Alexander and Florance Hawkins Alexander. He retired as Wire Chief and Vice-President of Kearsarge Telephone Co/TDS in New London, New Hampshire after 22 years of service. He also retired after 24 years with United Telephone Company as C.O.E Supervisor in Chapel Hill, TN. He was past Noble Brand of IOOF (International Order of Odd Fellows). He enjoyed playing golf, poker, history and politics.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Richard and daughter Cheryl Keiler.
Mr. Alexander is survived by his wife of 59 years Sylvia Alexander of Lewisburg, one daughter Eunice Rosenbalm of Lewisburg, two sons Carl Keiler of Lewisburg and Steven Alexander of New Hampshire, six grandchildren, and one nephew and several nieces.
Mr. Alexander will be cremated and his services will be private at Temple Cemetery in the Farmington community.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the American Cancer Society in care of Susie Boatright, 2382 Lynnville Hwy, Cornersville, TN. 37047.
