Rebecca Logan Holt, age 13 of Anderson, SC, died Friday, December 10, 2004 in Anderson.
Logan was born in Nashville, TN on August 28, 1991. She was the daughter of Jerry Holt and Shana Arnold Blackwell. She was an 8th grade student at Lakeside Middle School in Anderson where she was a member of the swim team. Logan loved music, playing the flute, enjoyed baking and cooking, and time with her family.
She is survived by her father & step-mother: Jerry & Karen Holt of Clarksville, TN; mother & step-father: Shana & Terry Blackwell of Anderson, SC; 3 brothers: Zachary Ryan Blackwell and Isaac Blackwell of Anderson, SC, and Cooper Holt of Clarksville; 2 sisters: Bailey and Aiden Blackwell of Anderson, SC; grandparents: Jeneva Holder Holt of Nashville, Jerry Miller Holt of Columbia, Patricia & Cloyd Arnold of Nashville, and John & Coetta Daffron of Cunningham, TN.
To celebrate her life, the family will receive friends Wednesday, December 15, from 3:00-8:00 PM at Woodbine Funeral Home, 3620 Nolensville Rd, Nashville.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 16, at 1:00 PM at the Trevecca Community Church, 335 Murfreesboro Rd, Nashville. Pastor Dwight Gunter will officiate. Burial will follow at 2:30 PM in the Field of Honor at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville.
Bills McGaugh Funeral Home and the United States Forest Service have provided for the planting of a tree in Logans memory.
