Phillip McMillin

January 2, 1954 — December 23, 2008

Mr. Phillip Wayne McMillin, age 54, of Lewisburg passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 in Winchester, TN following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Mr. McMillin was a native of Marshall County and was the son of the late Curtis Lee McMillin Jr. and Fannie C. Fanning. He was retired from the United States Army and was a veteran of Operation Desert Storm, was a former employee of International Comfort Products and was currently employed at Goodman Heating and Cooling Industry in Fayetteville, TN. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother; Michael Lee McMillin, a sister; Diane Daniels, and a nephew; Bobby McMillin.

Survivors include two sisters, Martha Wells of Cornersville and Donna Madison of Petersburg, TN one brother, William K. Linda McMillin Sr. of Culleoka. Neice, Tracy Jacobs, and Nephews; Jeff and John Wells, Greg Jones, Steve McMillin, Billy McMillin, Bobby McMillin and Bryan McMillin.

Funeral services for Mr. McMillin will be conducted on Friday, December 26, 2008 at 12:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with burial to follow in Temple Cemetery with Brother Clark Albright officiating. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army Reserve. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. and again on December 26, 2008 from 8:30 am until the funeral hour. There will be no visitation on December 25, 2008.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Webster, Tim Ledford, Ronnie Hartley, Mike Jett, Greg McKenzie, Gerald Burns, Ronnie Harmon and numerous friends the family are unable to mention.
