Obituary for Nona Jewel McBride
Nona Jewel McBride, 85, passed away October 25, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center, Columbia, TN. She was a bookkeeper for First National Bank of Lewisburg, TN for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband R. L. McBride, Jr. in 1995 and a member of Church Street Church of Christ. Mrs. McBride was born to the late Jessie Allen and Nona Thurman Hickman on December 27, 1929. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Martha Ann Osteen, and brothers, J. B., John C. and Allen Gordon Hickman.
She is survived by a sister, Mary Louise Osborne, a dear friend, Allie Mae Ray and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 28th at 2:00 pm in Lone Oak Cemetery with no prior visitation.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association P. O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
