Myrtle Garner

September 26, 1925 — April 14, 2007

Mrs. Myrtle Garner, age 81 of Lewisburg, passed away on Saturday, April 14th, 2007 at NHC Oakwood following a brief stay.

She was the daughter of the late Sam & Aussie Wallace and was the widow of the late Cecil Garner. She is preceded in death by her sister Carlene Peppers, her brother Garfield Wallace, & half brother Russell Doc Wallace. She was a Stewart County native and a member of the Church of God.

She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Crabb of Lewisburg & her son, Billy Lessenberry of Clarksville. Seven grandchildren & four great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Garner will be conducted on Tuesday, April 17th, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Bills - McGaugh Funeral Home with Tom Sumner officiating and burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends on Monday, April 16th, 2007 from 2:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M. and also on Tuesday up until the funeral hour.

Pallbearers are Michael Cunningham, Don Cole, Gerald Cunningham and Jerry Cunningham.
