Mrs. Mattie Louise Nix, age 76 of Lewisburg, TN passed away Saturday, March 06, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Nix was a native of Giles County, TN and the daughter of the late John Dunnivant and Louella Mae Roberts Dunnivant.
In additions to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert, John, G. H. and J. B. Dunnivant and three sisters Virginia Watkins, Polly Edwards, and Christine Edwards. She was retired from Marshall Manufacturing Co. and was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Nix is survived by one son Randy Nix and one daughter Wanda Nix, both of Lewisburg and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Nix will be Tuesday, March 9, 2010 from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Tim McGehee and Paul Woodford officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Park Cemetery. Family visitation will be Monday, March 8, 2010 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
