MARY ELIZABETH WORTHAM
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Martin Wortham, age 71 of 925 Battery Drive, Lewisburg, passed away on Sunday, March 4th, at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville.
She was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Fred Martin, Sr. and Mildred Helton Martin. She was a 1954 graduate of Cornersville High School and retired office worker at Heil Quaker Corp.
She is survived by her husband Loyd Wortham, one daughter and son-in-law Jana and Scott Hoffman of Chapel Hill, TN. She is also survived by a brother Joe Martin of Lewisburg and one sister Almeta Hickman of Franklin, TN and one granddaughter Alizabeth Hoffman of Chapel Hill, her close friend and aunt Margaret Foster of Lewisburg. She was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Martin, Jr.
Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 5th. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6th in the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with burial at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Lung Association of Tennessee, One Vantage Way, Suite C-250, Nashville, TN 37228.
