Mary Owen

Mrs. Owen died Monday morning in NHC-Oakwood in Lewisburg.
She was the daughter of David and Mary nee Stevenson Dickerson, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lewisburg. Mrs. Owen began her education at Dickinson College, and received her bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and her Masters from University of Tennessee, Nashville Campus. She was a CPA, a lifelong member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, and a member of the Robert Lewis Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years: John R. Owen Lewisburg; daughter: Suzie Mary Sue Comstock Lewisburg; sons: Bill Owen Lewisburg, Dr. David Owen Knoxville; brother: David Dickerson Mt. Dora, FL and 7 grandchildren who will bear her to her place of rest: Kristen Comstock, Jay Owen, Owen Comstock, Reid Owen, Caroline Owen, Russ Owen, and Carlye Owen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Marshall County Memorial Scholarship Fund or the Marshall County Memorial Library.
Bills-McGaugh and the United States Forest Service have provided for the planting of a tree in memory of Mrs. Owen.
