Mary Cantrell

February 2, 1920 — November 14, 2005

Mary Frances Cantrell, age 85 of Belfast, died Monday afternoon at her residence.

A native of Bedford County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Monroe and Mary Cassie Lee Haskins, retired from Genesco, and a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by four sons: Ed Cantrell of Bell Buckle, Ray Cantrell of Nashville, Larry Cantrell of Lewisburg, and Gary Cantrell of Belfast; 2 daughters: Mary Alice Dean of Petersburg and Alyce Ann Woodward of Lewisburg; 9 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.

The family will be at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home after 4:00 PM on Wednesday for visitation, and again on Thursday until the funeral hour.

Bills McGaugh Funeral Home and the United States Forest Service have provided for the planting of a tree in Mrs. Cantrells memory.
