Mrs. Marjorie Farmer Burgess, age 82, passed away Thursday evening, September 11, 2008.
A native of Marshall County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Farmer and Catherine Glymp Farmer. She was retired from Pencil Printing Corporation, becoming a homemaker after retirement. She was also a member of the Farmington Church of Christ.
Mrs. Burgess is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years , Douglas Lee Burgess of Lewisburg, TN one daughter, BrendaJames Smith of Lewisburg, Tn, one son, Lee Linda Michele Burgess of Lewisburg, TN, two grandchildren, Chris Smith of the Wheel Community and Melissa Thompson of Lewisburg, TN, five great grandchildren, Robert and Kayla Smith, Jennifer Moore, and Amber and Jessie Thompson.
Funeral services for Mrs. Burgess will be conducted Sunday, September 14, 2008 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral home with Corey Barnette and Bennie Burns officiating, burial will follow in Middleview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 13, 2008 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM
