Maple Derryberry

Maple Ruth Lowrance Derryberry, age 83 of Lewisburg, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2015 at St. Thomas West Medical Center in Nashville. A native of Marshall County, Mrs. Derryberry was the daughter of the late Odell Lowrance and Lena Mae Bivins Lowrance. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Elmo Derryberry, who passed away in 1995 and her second husband, Carl Cook who passed away in 2014. Mrs. Derryberry retired from Faber Castell in 1994. She is survived by one daughter, Neva Ferguson of Primm Springs, TN; one son, Phillip Derryberry of Nashville; one sister, Faye Dunlap of Primm Springs, TN; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services for Mrs. Derryberry will be held Monday, January 5, 2015, at 12 Noon in the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with her son, Phillip officiating. Burial will follow in Short Cemetery in the Spring Place Community. Visitation with the family will be Monday, January 5, 2015 from 9 AM until the funeral hour.
